The NR-S School Board has been asked to consider a change in the way parents and guardians are notified of student progress in school. The board held the first reading of a revision to GCBB, Reporting Progress to Parents, at its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 12. Twelve top spellers from New Rockford- Sheyenne challenged themselves Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the Eddy County Spelling Bee. All students started with a 25 question vocabulary test, followed by a 50 word written spelling challenge.
