A couple of weekends ago, several families from the Eddy County 4-H Shooting Sports and Outdoor Skills Club met near Lake Metigoshe to learn and practice some outdoor winter skills. On Dec. 1, Tiffany 4-H Club went to the nursing home to help decorate Christmas trees for the Helping Hands project. After they decorated trees, they had hot apple cider and cookies which the nursing home had ready for them. They held a short business meeting.
