Jeff and Denise Labrensz left last Wednesday to drive to Fort Collins, Colo., to attend the funeral of Denise's sister. They returned home on Sunday. The weather and roads were good both ways, except for the wind. Last Wednesday, Patti Clifton and Jan Loe were in Jamestown. Patti had an appointment at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Last Monday afternoon, Patti Clifton was in Carrington for appointments at the Carrington Health Center. After spending a week at the home of Patti Clifton, Rance and Jena Brown (Patti's daughter) left for Stanton to spend a week at the home of Rance's parents, John and Jodene Brown. Tuesday, July 27, Jeff and Denise Labrensz attended the North Dakota State Fair in Minot. They enjoyed looking at some of the exhibits and eating some fair food, followed by a short visit to Menards before heading home. They stopped in Rugby for supper at the Dairy Queen. Jeff and Denise Labrensz enjoyed the 150th anniversary of Campbell, Minn., this past weekend. Denise attended school there for her 12 years of education. They both enjoyed visiting with family and friends, watching a great parade and touring the school. An interesting fact about the school; it is Campbell-Tintah as of the fall of 1972, and over the years has had sports co-ops with Fairmount, N.D., and currently with Rosholt, S.D. Denise Labrensz drove Jase Pfeiffer to Jamestown on Saturday, as he was anxious to meet his baby brother, Cooper James, who was born on Friday evening.
