Last Tuesday, Jan Loe and Patti Clifton spent the day in Grand Forks. They did a lot of browsing and some shopping, and enjoyed noon lunch at Perkins. Jeff and Denise Labrensz enjoyed the weekend at a hotel in Jamestown, along with Matt, Allison and Jase Pfeiffer. Jase enjoyed spending time in the pool, especially the water slide, with her mom and dad. Our hearts go out to the Genre family after the loss of their home, to a fire, on Sunday morning. Patti Clifton enjoyed the vendor fair at Open Season Lodge in Sheyenne on Feb. 6. While there, she joined Bonnie Deegan and Jan Loe for lunch. Jeff and Denise Labrensz celebrated Christmas Eve at the Pfeiffer farm, rural New Rockford, enjoying time with family and friends. Sheyenne's traditional Christmas Day dinner at Ostby Hall went on again this year as a take-out/curbside delivery event thanks to the efforts of volunteers who spent their time roasting turkeys, mashing potatoes, preparing dressing, buns and cookies. A total of 177 people were served. Rance and Jena Brown left for their home in Sun Prairie, Wisc., on November 20, after spending two weeks at the home of her mother Patti Clifton. The foot clinic that was scheduled for last week was canceled due to the uptick in COVID-19 cases in the area.
