Jeff and Denise Labrensz left last Wednesday with other senior members of North Star Community Credit Union for a bus trip to Bemidji and Walker, Minn. Steph Loe met the Kolles family in Rugby on Saturday. Steph, Medora, Ruby and Elis returned to Sheyenne. Community Credit Union of New Rockford, Carrington and Fessenden, held its annual meeting at Ostby Hall in Sheyenne on Saturday. The Eddy County VFW Auxiliary held a meeting at the Sheyenne Senior Center last Tuesday afternoon. Torsk was on the menu at the Eddy County VFW Clubhouse on Sunday. The annual fundraiser was sponsored by the VFW with assistance in the kitchen and setup from auxiliary members. About 50 area residents enjoyed the annual feed. For the next two weeks, the Lending Library at the Sheyenne Senior Center has paperback books for community members to take and read. It is asked that these books not be returned.
