The 69th Legislative session is well under way. Taking on my new role as Speaker of the House has been quite an experience so far. One thing I have learned is how incredibly important all the staff are to make sure things run smoothly and efficiently. The House introduced 620 bills this session, which is the most since 1991 and 76 more than last session. This will certainly add to the workload to be done within our limit of 80 days.
