The Wilton Miners hosted their annual archery tournament on Saturday, Feb. 11. Archers competed in both bullseye and 3D, and there were some new competitors at the top of the ranks for NR-S. Eddy County Sheriff Paul Lies confirmed that one male victim, identified as 30-year-old Troyal Thumb, was transported to the CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Carrington, where he died as a result of his injuries. WED, FEB. 22 @ 12:55 PM Nicholas Poitra, the man police say shot and killed another man at Rindy's Bar in Sheyenne on Sunday, Feb. 19, has been taken into custody. Eddy County Sheriff, Paul Lies, said Poitra was discovered at around noon on Wednesday, February 22, by a local farmer on County Road 12 in Eddy County, between 27th and 26th Street.
