  • Wreckin' Records

    Nathan Price|Mar 13, 2023

In just his freshman year, Parker Jacobson is the all-time single-season 3-point scorer for the Washburn Cardinals. Parker Jacobson is the son of Keith Jacobson, a graduate of New Rockford High School who used to play for the Rockets under head coach Harry Pieterick. Jacobson amassed 93 total 3-pointers during the regular season, and boasted an impressive 50 percent field goal percentage from beyond the arc. Nathan Price|Mar 13, 2023

The Triple Threat’s regular season has drawn to a close, and what a season it was. Avoid areas with vegetation, moving water, pressure ridges and springs. Check conditions as you go along on the ice and don’t move around at night. *Marc...

    Gerri Makay|Mar 13, 2023

Are you seeing green? March 1st marked the meteorological beginning of spring. When I was a kid, spring clearly started on March 21st (the vernal equinox – when the sun and the equator celebrate a secret handshake), a much more likely date for closing the door on winter in North Dakota. Apparently, meteorologists rule when it comes to marking our seasons. Don’t put away the snow shovel just yet. The most familiar holiday for the month is St. Patrick’s Day, celebrated on March 17th, which marks the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ir...
