In Washington, we are hearing a chorus from the new left to impeach President Trump - and do it now. Now these folks have good reason for wanting revenge. They represent constituencies that have been abused and intimidated by an arrogant Trump administration. Minorities have been paying a high price for Trump and they are mad – so mad that they are a...

  • Democrats fail to take stance against anti-semitism

    Christine Flowers|Mar 18, 2019

After the massacre at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh last year, it really shouldn't be a struggle to condemn anti-Semitism. In fact, after the Holocaust, there shouldn't be any heavy moral lifting at all. It's a self-evident principle that hatred of Jews is anathema and strikes at the heart of everything civilized. But last week, Nancy Pelosi had a problem getting her caucus to vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism. The problem is that the trigger for this resolution was...

  • Sermonette: Hebrews 11

    Rev. Kevin Libby|Mar 18, 2019

One my favorite passages in scripture to read is Hebrews Chapter 11. It’s often referred to as the “faith” chapter and I have generally referred to it as the “hall of faith.” If you take the time to read it you will see that it references many of the big names of the Old Testament. The writer references many examples of men and women who not only had faith in regards to belief, but they had a faith that was lived out. Hebrews 11:1-2 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancient...
