Archers across the state ended their season a bit differently this year. Amidst COVID-19 restrictions, state tournament organizers opted to hold a virtual tournament, conducted by compiling each archer's top scores from the season. Once the scores were compiled, State NASP officials ranked the archers and recognized the top 10 in each division. The top scoring individuals in each division were named state champion. The North Dakota Department of Health reported 90 new positive cases of COVID-19 Saturday, with three-quarters of the cases in Grand Forks County. The number of cases has shot up by 135 in two days. County commissions in all of the 53 counties have authorized Vote by Mail for the election as a measure to reduce the public's risk of exposure to COVID-19.
