    NR-S eighth grader Jaida Schumacher punched her ticket to the state track meet at the Panther Booster in Rugby on Monday, May 13. Schumacher ran her absolute best in the girls' 100-meter dash in Rugby to qualify for state and finish in third with a time of 12.92 seconds.     The New Rockford-Sheyenne track and field team competed at the North Central Region meet in Rugby on Friday, May 17. The Rockets boys' team did exceptionally well, coming up only four points shy of a regional championship.
