The Eddy County Rod and Gun Club shooting range is now open for use by the public. The range is open on Mondays from 4 p.m. to dusk and on Wednesdays and Saturdays from dawn to dusk. The Eddy County Sheriff’s Department is once again playing host to the annual fishing derby. On Saturday, June 1, bring the whole family to the New Rockford City Park at the north side of town to get in on the fun. The derby will run from 9 a.m. until noon. The research study is a collaborative effort between North Dakota State University, Kansas State University and the University of Maryland.
