    New Rockford Post #30 traveled to Carrington on June 21 to play an afternoon game. The Black Sox built an early lead, but blew it in the bottom of the seventh. Carrington won the game 12-11 in eight innings. NR-S was able to plate their first run in the top of the first, due to an error from the Carrington defense.     NR faced off against District 2 foe Harvey on June 21 in New Rockford, and lost 13-7. Starter Alex Weisenburger was wild in the first inning and Harvey capitalized. Harvey scored three of their four runs in that inning on wild pitches. Harvey continued to pile on with runs in all innings except the seventh inning.     Tuesday saw the New Rockford Babe Ruth team in Rolla for a District Two match up. The Sox got a much-needed win 7-1. NR got off to a slow start and were behind after the first inning. Rolla’s Jonathan Mears scored their only run after walking, advancing to second on a single by Julius Elick, advancing to third on an error and scoring on a walk.
