The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District’s Recreation Committee recently awarded matching recreation grants to 13 projects totaling $259,288. Eddy County was awarded $8,933 to construct a 4-H pavilion at the county fairgrounds. The extensive wet pattern in North Dakota, topped with an early snowstorm, is creating a great deal of anxiety for farmers and ranchers. Ronald Alvin Kolden, 78, of Carrington, N.D., passed away Oct. 11, 2019, in Carrington Health Center after a struggle with pneumonia.
