A new kind of food bank is on its way to the Spirit Lake Reservation. What began as a class project is now making the transition from vision to reality. The community of Sheyenne will once again be hosting their annual Christmas Day Dinner at Ostby Hall in Sheyenne, serving from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken for the dinner. Lake Region State College is visiting six regional high schools during the basketball season and holding a three-point contest for $250 scholarship to the college.
