    It's official. The Eddy County Commission appointed Becki Schumacher permanent county auditor on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Schumacher began her tenure with the county on January 22, when she was appointed Interim Auditor after Patty Williams resigned effective January 1. Other volunteers for Sheyenne Civic Association were Tim Hartl and Randy Keller selling cards and Darlene Kolstad serving lunch.     On Wednesday, August 21, the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office executed a coordinated operation that resulted in the issuing of 18 various citations. The charges largely related to traffic incidents, such as driving under suspension, speeding violations and failure to wear seatbelt, to name a few.
