Hunter Buehler traveled to Frisco, Texas with college buddies to watch the NDSU Bison-JMU championship game and tour the Dallas area.

Tom, Pam, JD and Jakob Schmid spent Christmas Day with Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson in Hampden.
Joe, Braden, Doug and Parker Schmid celebrated a late Christmas on Tuesday after Christmas at Tom and Pam’s home.
Tom and Pam traveled to Minneapolis last weekend to take in the Vikings game.
Lester Roberts was a business caller in New Rockford on Thursday.
Roger Roberts visited Lester and Jackie on Saturday.
Doris Griffin is a member of the committee that met last week at the Law Enforcement Center in Devils Lake. The committee is planning a program to provide an alternative to incarceration. It is called “Free Through Recovery”.
Doris also attended a meeting of the Lake Region Wood Carvers to plan events for 2018.
Patty and Jarvis Hegland helped their son, Jake celebrate his birthday with supper at Jake and Amanda’s home New Year’s Day.
Friday and Saturday before Christmas, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland went to Gettysburg, South Dakota to Amanda’s parents, Terry and Nancy Weischedel’s home.
That Saturday, the family went to Onida, South Dakota and spent the day with Amanda’s grandparents and other relatives.
Christmas Eve, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper attended church at Calvary in Oberon and then had supper at Jarvis and Patty Hegland’ s home.
Christmas Day, the Hegland’s went to Jamestown to spend the day with Hegland relatives.
