Oberon Oracles: January 29, 2018

Lester Roberts attended the Lake Region Roundup in Devils Lake.

 Wednesday, Lester went to Minnewaukan on business.

 Chad Getscher visited Lester and Jackie Wednesday evening.

 Roger Roberts was a Saturday visitor at Lester and Jackie’s.

 Dave and Linda Madson visited the Roberts’ on Sunday afternoon.

John and Janice Hager attended the FourWinds-Minnewaukan vs. New Rockford-Sheyenne boys basketball game in New Rockford Monday evening.

Thursday evening, the Hagers were in New Rockford to take in the New Rockford-Sheyenne vs. North Star basketball game.

John and Janice, Tanner Erpelding and Ron and Linda Walters enjoyed supper at the Spirit Lake Casino on Saturday evening.

Tanner spent the weekend with the Hagers.

Elisa and Breana Buehler and Joe Wentz of Bismarck, Michael Pacheco and Mavis of Watford City and Hunter Buehler, NDSU, spent the weekend at the Buehler farm.

Todd, Nadley, Beau and Hunter, Michael Pacheco and Joe Wentz attended the” Opera House Rocks” production Saturday evening in Maddock. Elisa and Breana were participants in the production.

Last Monday, Tom and Pam Schmid visited James Nelson. Following their visit with James , they went to Hampden to visit Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson.

Jakob Schmid spent the weekend home from NDSU.

Pam attended the 4-H banquet in Maddock Saturday night.

On Tuesday, Betty Rushfeldt went to Devils Lake to visit her sister, Sharon Rance. She took Sharon to a medical appointment and also did some shopping.

Jarvis and Patty Hegland traveled to Hettinger to see Patty’s mother, Emily Stadheim. They spent Tuesday through Thursday with her.

Friday, granddaughter Fallyn Hegland spent the day with Patty. Friday evening, Jarvis, Patty and Fallyn attended the New Rockford-Sheyenne vs. Maddock basketball game.

Monday, Kennedee and McKenzee Dugdale spent the day with great grandparents, Dave and Linda Madson.

Wednesday afternoon, Dave and Linda enjoyed bowling in Cando with the Senior Bowling League.

Friday, Linda went to swim exercises at the Spirit Lake Casino. Swim exercises are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 10:00, if anyone would like to join the group.
