February predicted to be frigid with a shot of snow

Winter started early this year, and it shows no signs of easing up. The National Weather Service predicts that the first half of February will be frigid cold, and our area will see above average snowfall. The extreme cold is not exactly welcome, but the precipitation is needed given the dry fall.
