Obituary: Daniel Hager

Daniel "Dan" Hager, age 41, of New Rockford, ND, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at his home under the care of Hospice. Services were held on January 30, at Evans Funeral Home. Burial was at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in New Rockford, ND. Father Reese Weber officiated, special music was provided by Heather Klocke and Diane Allmaras. Casket Bearers were Tara Thumb, Bryan Rieger, Dana Rieger, John Heidt, Christopher Hager, Tina LaPort and Ryan Kalinowski.

Dan was born on June 23, 1976, the son of Romaldus and Beatrice (Wentz) Hager. Dan attended elementary school in Fessenden, ND. In 1982, he moved to Harvey. Where he attended and graduated from Harvey High School in 1997. He then worked for Hav-IT Industries in Harvey. In 2010, he moved to New Rockford and was involved with the 4th Corporation.

He is survived by his mother, four brothers; Darrell (Daniel) of Carrington, Dale (Terri), Harvey of David (Jackie), Great Falls, MT and Duane (Lisa) of Harvey; two sisters, Karen (David) Rieger, and Shirley both of Sheyenne; along with seven nieces and nephews, five great-nephews, nine great-nieces and several aunts and uncles.

Dan is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents Steven and Barbara Hager and maternal grandparents Bernard and Rose Wentz.
