M-P-B Thunder strikes Rockets

New Rockford-Sheyenne played a pretty good overall first quarter, but it was just too much Medina-Pingree-Buchanan after that as they defeated the locals by a final score of 66-24, in non-district girls basketball action played at Pingree on Monday, February 5.

The Thunder also put a Chaser on Hannah Haley. M-P-B led virtually all the way and at all quarter stops: 18-7, 43-12, 58-15. At times the game was quite physical.

New Rockford-Sheyenne made 9 field goals, 4 of 8 free throws, had 12 fouls and committed 24 turnovers.
