Doris Griffin attended the Northern Plains Electric district meeting in Maddock on Wednesday evening. Randy and Charlotte Simon also attended.

Roger Roberts visited Lester and Jackie Roberts on Saturday.

Bob Hoffart and Lezlee Thorson were also Saturday visitors at Lester and Jackie’s.

Chad Getscher visited the Roberts’ on Sunday.

James Nelson received a phone call from Don Knutson of Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday. Don is a former resident of the Oberon/Minnewaukan area.

Jarvis Hegland and the Hopkins family of Devils Lake visited James on Sunday.

Charlotte Simon and daughter, Heidi Thompson attended the baby shower for Eva Jerome, daughter of Peter and Danielle Jerome in Devils Lake Friday evening.

Saturday, Randy and Charlotte (Grandpa and Grandma) babysat Max and Elin Thompson in Grand Forks. They returned home Sunday afternoon.

Tuesday morning, Dave and Linda Madson traveled to Grand Forks. The Madson’s stayed overnight at the Warrior Inn on the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

Dave and Linda kept medical appointments in Grand Forks on Wednesday.

Linda’s nephew, Kelly VenHuizen of Cooperstown stopped in for a visit with the Madson’s on Friday afternoon.

Dave and Linda went to Park River on Saturday to bowl in the Joe Klemen 40 Frame tournament at the Bowl-Mor Lanes.

Kennedee Dugdale, Dave and Linda’s great granddaughter, took part in the Ramsey County Spelling Bee at the Court House in Devils Lake. She took second place. Kennedee is in the 3rd grade.

Randy Simon visited Todd Buehler on Friday.

Friday evening, Sherry Boehmer of Devils Lake, brought supper and visited Todd, Nadley and Hunter.

Hunter, a current NDSU student, spent the weekend at home.
