All District 7 and District Tournament Team Players Named

The District 7 All Tournament Girls Basketball Team and All District 7 Team were announced at the close of the tournament on Monday, Feb. 12. Hannah Haley was selected to both teams, and senior Lauren Roscoe was named to the All District 7 Team.

All players chosen to the District 7 All Tournament Girls Basketball Team are as follows: Dani Schwanke, Benson County; Carly Lippert, Dakota Prairie; Latasha Bellile, Four Winds-Minnewaukan; McKayla Jones, Harvey-Wells County; Hannah Haley, New Rockford-Sheyenne.

All District 7 Team members, which are chosen based on regular season play, were as follows: Hannah Haley and Lauren Roscoe, New Rockford-Sheyenne; Desidy Schwanke and Dani Schwanke, Benson County; Carly Lippert, Dakota Prairie; Myona Dauphinaias, Jasmine Lohnes and Hailey Keo, Four Winds-Minnewauken; Karlie Dockter, Jaye Fike and McKayla Jones, Harvey-Wells County; Breanne Schmidt and Stephanie Bartlett, Lakota; Madison Leaf, Warwick.

Senior Athlete of the Year is Dani Schwanke from Benson County.

One district coach and athletic director were also given accolades at the conclusion of the tournament. 

Athletic Director of the Year is Elliott Belquist from New Rockford-Sheyenne.

Coach of the Year is Sean Gourd of Four Winds-Minnewaukan.
