Talk of the Town- March 5, 2018

Gail Klump was a Monday visitor at the Shirley Packard home. Wednesday Shirley was among the gals at Kindred Sister Bible Study, hosted by Sharon Young at the Evangelical Free Church in New Rockford.

Martin and Eloise Lucht drove to Devils Lake Sunday, where they visited with daughter Heidi Schneider and Callise. They missed the fellas as Jay and Caleb were fishing.

Wednesday found Marvis Holte accompanying her daughter Amanda Bickett to New Rockford, where Amanda tended to some business.

Weekend guest at the Robert and Cheryl Janzen home was Robert’s brother, Norman from Devils Lake. Norman was treated to supper at the Pizza Ranch in Carrington Sunday.

Shirley Packard and Calvin were among those who enjoyed the VFW torske dinner in Sheyenne Sunday. Friday Shirley and Calvin were in Devils Lake, where Shirley tended to business at the Eye Clinic.

Thursday, Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Jamestown, did some shopping and enjoyed a visit with Fayette Hardy. Sunday visitors and dinner guests at the Holte home were Cody Bickett and Izzy. Marvis also enjoyed a phone chat with her brother Cory Birkholz as he called from his home in Grand Forks. Alls okay in Cory's world.

Saturday, Martin and Eloise Lucht enjoyed weinerschnitzle at the Eagles Club in New Rockford. Sunday they motored to Sheyenne and enjoyed the torsk dinner served by the VFW.

Cheryl Janzen enjoyed a phone chat with good friend Susan Allmaras Sunday. Susan is from Fargo.
