Saturday morning visitor at the Ervin Longnecker home was Jimmy Indergaard. Afternoon drop-in visitor was Charlotte Koepplin, who brought early Easter treats.

Esther Indergaard and the Indergaard families received the sad news of the passing of Ardis Klindworth, wife of Esther's brother Alfred. All attended the funeral and burial for Ardis on Friday at Concordia Lutheran Church and cemetery of rural Fessenden

Sunday, Margie Anderson attended and thoroughly enjoyed the musical talents of “Broadway Unbound” at the Old Church Theatre in New Rockford. Saturday found Jimmy Indergaard, Andy and Ruth Braaten and Nellie enjoying the singing at the Old Church Theatre.

Thursday, Charlotte Koepplin and Candy Jensen drove to Devils Lake where they tended to some business, did some shopping and enjoyed a lunch before returning home.

Sunday dinner found Andy and Ruth Braaten and Nellie, Jimmy Indergaard, Esther Indergaard, Sharon Laxdal and friend enjoying conversation at the Pizza Ranch in Carrington.

Friday, Dale and Diane Rosenberg, Ervin Longnecker, Cory Jorgensen and Rynna, Chuck and Nancy Ludwig, Eve McAvoy, Tom and Robin Rehborg, Jay Cudworth, Dianne Goebel and Charlotte Koepplin were among those who took in the Annual Family Party of Circle Trail Riders Inc. at American Legion Post #30 in New Rockford. A potluck supper was enjoyed followed by the 2017 awards presentations, live music and door prize drawings for the little cowpokes.

Brief visitor at the Charlotte Koepplin home Sunday afternoon was Todd Koepplin.

Monday morning found Jimmy Indergaard visiting his mother, Esther, at Golden Acres Estates in Carrington and later at the Charlotte Koepplin home.

Chuck and Nancy Ludwig recently returned returned after three months of winter R&R traveling in warmer parts of the lower forty-eight states. They just hit road and explored at their leisure. They stopped at acquaintances and family here and there, especially enjoying time with Chuck's brother, Ron, and long time friend and one time neighbor, Mike Hess, both in Texas. Mike is recovering from a recent heart attack and is doing well.

Margie Anderson, Bev Bjornson, Ardis Schnieder and Metta McDowell attended the Community Foundation Fund Raiser, Deal or No Deal at the New Rockford Golf Club. It is said they enjoyed the goings on, but went home none the richer, although full from the wonderful supper.

Wednesday, Margie Anderson visited several residents at the Lutheran Home of The Good Shepherd. Later she was a visitor and supper guest at the Dave and Karen Anderson home.

Monday, Charlotte Koepplin received a phone call from her aunt Ramona Koepplin of Minneapolis with the sad news of her daughter, Sandra’s son-in-law, Jason’s sudden and unexpected passing. Jason was 44 and leaves his wife Tara, two sons and a daughter.
