Wednesday, Shirley Packard accompanied Judy McKnight to Kindred Sister Bible Study at the Evangelical Free Church with Flo Lund as hostess. Evening found Shirley and son Calvin enjoying a soup supper at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrington prior to a Lenten worship service.

Rob and Margie Lies, Jeremy and Jackie Schmaltz, CJ and Matie, Bill and Diana Ziegler, Joe Schmaltz, Colton Saestad, Jason Wiste, Nate Rue, Hannah Brandner, Mike Buck, Karen and sons, Jaxon and Christian were among those who took in the annual family party of Circle Trail Riders Inc. at the American Legion in New Rockford on Friday. A pot luck supper and presentation of the 2017 awards took place. There was also live music by Rob and Margie and complimentary prizes for the kids. All enjoyed visiting and eating.

Martin and Janelle Koepplin received good wishes from several on March 7, as they celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.

Martin and Eloise Lucht took a drive Wednesday and found themselves in Carrington, where they did a bit of shopping and returned home. They received a phone call from their son Larry, who lives in Virginia, where they had missed the worst of the east coast storms. Although Larry did say in their area, had 70 mph winds.

Saturday evening visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy.
