Jim Engebretson visited John and Janice Hager on Tuesday.

Shelly and Tanner Erpelding of Edgeley, were overnight guests of John and Janice on Wednesday. Tanner was also an overnight guest on Sunday night.

Judy and Ken Hager of rural Devils Lake visited John and Janice on Sunday afternoon.

Saturday afternoon, David and Bonnie Nelson hosted a birthday party for James Nelson at their home. Among those attending were: Greg and Jarvis Hegland; Lester and Jackie Roberts; Jack and Carrie Baker; Austin VanSteenvort and his daughter Harper; Dave and Linda Madson; Chad and Brandi Nelson and their boys Weston, Tucker and Ryder. A delicious lunch was served.

Lester Roberts attended a township meeting in Oberon on Tuesday. Thursday, Lester and Jackie were in Sheyenne and New Rockford.Roger was a Friday visitor.

Doris Griffin attended the Friends of Sully’s Hill business meeting in Devils Lake Thursday night.

The last snowshoeing for the season was held at Sully’s Hill on Saturday.

Gene Wooley visited James Nelson on Thursday.

James receives a call from his brother, Mayo every day. That is pretty special. I think Mayo is still riding his bike and feeding the ducks that come up on his lawn.

Betty Rushfeldt’s nephew Mark and his wife Lucy Rushfeldt and their two dogs from Durango, Colo. were houseguests at Betty’s from Friday through Tuesday. They were in North Dakota on business and to visit with relatives and friends.

Last Sunday, Betty, Mark and Lucy were guests of Everett and Gloria Rance at Bethel Church in Devils Lake.

Following services, Everett and Betty treated Mark, Lucy, Gloria and Doug Paulson to lunch at the Whitehouse Café in Devils Lake. Doug and a group from Bethel just returned from a trip to the Holy Land. Doug told them about his experiences on this trip during lunch.

Mark and Lucy visited at Everett and Gloria’s home following lunch.

Sunday evening, Betty and Vonnie Erickstad hosted a dinner in honor of Mark and Lucy at the Community Room at Park Manor. Those attending were, Mark and Lucy, Everett and Gloria; John and Maria Erikstad; Steven Erickstad of Bemidji, Minn.; Sharon Rance; Wayne Rance; Raymond and Connie Sletteland; and John Sletteland.

Monday, Mark and Lucy were guests of John and Maria Erickstad at the Lakeview Lodge.

Friday evening, Mark and Lucy treated Betty to dinner at Harriman’s in Maddock.

The Rushfeldt’s were on to Indianapolis, Ind., to visit their grandchildren.

Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper Hegland attended the Disney on Ice in Fargo last Saturday.

This Saturday evening, the Hegland’s were supper guests at Jarvis and Patty Hegland’s home.

Sunday, Jake, Amanda and the girls enjoyed the Sheyenne Fire Department pancake and sausage breakfast at Ostby Hall.
