Obituary: Ronald Larson

Ronald "Ron" James Larson, 62, of Plattsmouth, Neb. passed away on Monday, March, 19, 2018. Funeral services were held on March 22, 2018 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, Neb. Pastor Michael McGregor officiated. Pallbearers were Troy Morlock, Larry Hewitt, Clarence McConnaughey, Cody Shueman, Derick Henningsen and Ronnie Rockemann. He was buried at Prairie Union Cemetery in Shubert, Neb.

He was born on April 19, 1955 to Ralph Hans and Marion LaVonne (Fossen) Larson in New Rockford. He attended school in Sheyenne, N.D. After high school he began his career as a truck driver. For many years he worked for Shueman Transfer of Oakland, Iowa.

Ron is survived by his life partner, Terri McConnaughey of Plattsmouth; daughter, Beverly Kracht (Troy) of Pingree, N.D.; son, Bryan Larson (Leah) of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; mother, Marion of New Rockford, N.D.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Marilyn Aanderud (Steve) of Hillsboro, N.D., Melonie Irwin (Jeff) of Dilworth, Minn., Becky Edinger (Jim) of Mayville, N.D.; five brothers, Brad Larson (Becky), of Devils Lake, N.D., Kevin Larson (Jodi), of Fargo, N.D., Loren Larson (Joan), Fargo, N.D., Kent Larson (Val), of Dickinson, N.D., Curtis Larson (Marty), of New Rockford, N.D.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.
