Mixed bowling league awards presented

The Sunday Night Mixed Bowling League came to an end and the annual awards banquet was held at Wonder Lanes on the evening of March 30.

The 9-Pin No-Tap Tournament was held prior to the awards presentation. There were six couples taking part in the tournament which was won by Anessa Bailey and Ron Dockter with a score of 1626. Second place went to Ed O'Connor and Art Allmaras with a 1523. The highlight of the tournament was a "300" game bowled by Trucker Roberts. He had 12 strikes in his last game- and at the very same time Rob Schill, Devils Lake, bowled a 298 game -11 strikes in a row and an 8-pin count on his last shot.
