The NR-S track team headed to Belcourt Tuesday for an indoor meet. The girls finished second overall and the boys sixth.
Girls Placers
Hannah Haley who placed first for the 55 Hurdles with 9'28. Brianna Price placed third with 7’69 and Haley fourth with 7’81 in the 55 dash. In the 1600 Run, Elizabeth Widmer placed third and Chloe Heinz fourth.
In the 400 meter dash Price placed first with 1:05.43. Lauren Roscoe placed second at 1:06.78. Price finished third in the 200 dash with 28.64 Haley placed sixth with 29.21. In the 800 run, Roscoe placed eighth with 2.50.65. Second place for the 4x400 relay went to Price, Heinz, Roscoe and Haley with a time of 4:39:41.
The girls team totals are as listed: Harvey-Wells County 133, New Rockford-Sheyenne 73, Devils Lake 63, Northern Lights 33, Langdon 28, Nelson County 21, Bottineau 21, Glenburn 20, Midkota 9, Dunseith 8, Rolette 5 and Turtle Mtn- Belcourt 2.
Boys Placers
Joey Gray, Nathan Holzwarth, Hunter Thompson and Bo Belquist who placed fifth in the 4x200 relay with a time of 1:45:37. Gray came in second in the 55 dash with a time of 6'80. Belquist was a close third with 6'83. For 1600 run, Teddy Allmaras took fifth with 5’17. Thompson placed fifth with 59'31 in the 400 dash. Belquist took sixth in the 200 dash with a time of 24’84. In the 800 run, Allmaras placed fifth at 2:21.59. In the 4x400 relay, Gray, Thompson, Belquist and Allmaras placed third with 4:03.71.
