Keith and Nancy Tweten of Grand Island, Neb. visited James Nelson last weekend. Gene Wooley visited James one day last week. Craig and Sandy Poulsen and Jeff Poulsen of Anchorage, Alaska, visited James on Sunday.
Dave and Linda Madson traveled to Grand Forks on Thursday to take care of some business. Mitchell, Elisha and Brinlee Poulsen and Melodie Watt visited Dave and Linda on Saturday afternoon. Saturday evening, the Madsons attended the Lake Region Concert Association performance by the Alias Brass Company at the Lake Region State College.
Dave and Linda traveled to Cooperstown to attend Jack VenHuizen’s confirmation service at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday. Following the service, the celebration continued at Jack’s home. His parents are Kelly and Pam VenHuizen and he has a younger sister, Klaire. Kelly is Linda’s nephew. Among those helping Jack celebrate were his grandparents of Bottineau, Bob and Karen Bergman, his aunt Sally Jo VenHuizen of Fargo, Sally Jo’s parents, Everett and Faye Vigesaa of Cooperstown, his cousin Hailey and her husband, Jared Weinman and their children, Lexington and Lila of Grand Forks and in addition, many friends of the family.
John Rice of Maddock visited Todd Buehler Thursday morning. Hunter Buehler of Fargo, spent the weekend at the farm. Lester Roberts was in New Rockford and Carrington on business Friday. Roger made his weekly visit at the Roberts on Saturday.Les and Janice Ferry were Sunday visitors at Lester and Jackie’s.
Silas Zietz, son of Jill and Mike, was the honored guest at a party to celebrate his first year. Among the guests at his home near Horace were his grandparents, Jarvis and Patty Hegland, aunt and uncle, Jake and Amanda Hegland and cousins, Fallyn and Piper.
