Mustangs defeat Black Sox at home

One inning proved to be the difference in this game as Midkota-Dakota Prairie-Lakotadefeated the Black Sox by a final score of 5-2 in Region 3 high school baseball action played here on Thursday, May 3. The visitors came up with one run in the first, and added four more in the fifth. SNR came up with two runs in the fifth. Bo Belquist singled to left with one out, then Colter Soderholm came up next and also singled. Teddy Allmaras and then Tucker Longnecker each knocked in a run on a single. However, SNR could get no closer, and the visitors won by a final of 5-2. Both teams had their chances as the locals stranded 11 base runners and the Mustangs left 8 runners on base.

SNR is now 1-3, in Region 3 play and 1-3 overall.
