Memorial Day program to be held at Old Church Theatre

New Rockford’s annual Memorial Day program, sponsored by American Legion Raymond B. Thorn Post 30, will take place on Monday, May 28, at the Old Church Theatre on Central Avenue.  

The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. with an introduction by Commander Ron Anderson and Invocation from Post Chaplain Garry Coon. Also on the schedule are musical selections by the New Rockford-Sheyenne High School Choir and an address from Father Reece Weber.

Following the program, a short service will be held at both All Veteran’s Park along the James River and Riverside Cemetery north of New Rockford.
