Charlotte Simon babysat grandsons, Mason and Miles Simon at their home in Oxbow, N.D., from Wednesday through Friday. Their parents are Mark and Tessa Simon.
Friday evening, on her way home, Charlotte stopped at the home of Carson, Heidi, Max and Elin Thompson in Grand Forks.
Randy and Charlotte attended the Park Board Mother’s Day dinner in Maddock on Sunday.
Following the dinner, Randy went home to get back in the field while Charlotte drove to Rugby to visit her mother, Joan Bosch at the Heart of America Care Center and to enjoy the Mother’s Day Social.
Monday, Peggy Kindem and Janice Brown visited Lester and Jackie Roberts. Lester attended the funeral for Ervin Dockter.
Thursday, Lester and Jackie traveled to Grand Forks on business. They enjoyed lunch and a visit with Peggy Kindem.
Tom and Bobbi Duberowski of Parkers Prairie, Minn., were guests at Lester and Jackie’s on Saturday. That evening, they had a fish fry at the lake home of Lezlee and Bob Hoffart.
Roger Roberts was an afternoon visitor at Dave and Linda Madson’s on Saturday.
Shawn and Cathy Caulfield of Jamestown were overnight guests at the Madson’s on Saturday.
Sunday, the Caulfield’s and the Madson’s along with Melodie Watt and Kennedee and McKenzee Dugdale had Mother’s Day lunch at Mr. and Mrs. J’s restaurant in Devils Lake. Cathy and Shawn returned to their home Sunday afternoon.
Linda received Mother’s Day calls from daughter Carrie Madson of Oceanside, Calif., and son, Stacy Madson, Ranchester, Wyo.
Recently, Sharon Rance hosted a family get-together for Betty Rushfeldt, Fred and Luella Rance, Everett and Gloria Rance, Wayne Rance and Janet and Larry Bartz of Fargo at the Park Manor dining room in Devils Lake.
Betty reported that the annual meeting of the Antelope Valley Cemetery Association will be meeting at her home on May 27 at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in attending is welcome.
Wednesday, Fallyn and Piper Hegland spent the day entertaining grandparents, Patty and Jarvis Hegland.
Patty went to Horace, N.D. on Thursday to spent time with the Zietz family, Mike, Jill, Emma, Rosa and Silas. Thursday night, Patty, Jill and Silas watched Emma and Rosa at their gymnastics class.
Friday, Jill, Rosa and Patty attended the Modern Quilt Guild show in Fargo.
Patty returned home Saturday morning.
