Last Wednesday morning, Dick Evenson stopped at the home of Gary Barko, who had just returned to his rural Sheyenne home following the winter away. They enjoyed a visit over coffee, cheese and crackers. Gary had brought the cheese back from his travels this winter.
Diane Karlsbraaten and Patti Clifton were Wednesday afternoon coffee guests at the home of Shirley Westby to visit with Kathy (Westby) Swenson who was here from Washington. Kathy, Diane and Patti were schoolmates at Sheyenne. It was an enjoyable afternoon of catching up and reminiscing, along with coffee and some of Shirley's homemade treats.
Wednesday evening, Jan Loe and Patti Clifton drove to New Rockford for supper.
Area moms enjoyed the annual Mother's Day Brunch at Ostby Hall on Sunday, a fundraiser for the rodeo club. Always good!

May 13, Rhoda Stenberg, Kathy Albrecht, Jan Loe and Denise Labrensz attended the Prairie Rose Cluster Gathering in Tolna.
Marilyn Stenberg and Denise Stenberg, of Lakota, and Jason Stenberg, of Pekin, joined Jan and Steph Loe for the Mother's Day Brunch at Ostby Hall on Sunday. After brunch and visiting, they toured Sully's Hill.
