Tommies roll past Black Sox
SNR fell behind 5-0 and it became too much to overcome and Thompson defeated the locals by a final of 13-3. This was the second game the Black Sox played at Casselton on Friday, May 11.
The Tommies scored one run in the first, and four more in the second. SNR scored three runs in the fifth. Colter Soderholm drew a lead off walk and Teddy Allmaras also drew a walk.
Longnecker knocked in both runs on a double. Ystaas knocked in another run on a double. In the end, Thompson scored a whopping eighth runs in the fifth and won by a final of 13-3.
They will also be one of the top teams in Region 2.

Black Sox defeat Miners
Tucker Longnecker pitched a good overall game and as it turned out SNR scored all the runs they needed to in the first two innings. The locals defeated Beulah by a final score of 9-5
in this third game of the tournament, played at Casselton on Saturday, May 12.
Beulah came up with three runs in the first. SNR scored five in the first and four more in the second inning. Beulah added one in the fourth and one in the fifth and the locals came away with a 9-5 win.
SNR is now, 3-9 overall.
