NR-S School Board Election June 5

The New Rockford-Sheyenne School Board election will be held Tuesday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Polling will be at the New Rockford-Sheyenne School gymnasium lobby in New Rockford.

Three terms expire this year— that of Mary Kay Price, Eric Myhre and Roger Duda. Mary Kay Price has filed for the position that she is currently holding that represents the former New Rockford District, Patti Jo Larson has filed for the position that represents the former Sheyenne District and David Holzwarth has filed for the At Large from the District position.

Candidacy for each school board position is determined by residency within defined geographic areas of the district, but all eligible voters of the school district may vote for each position. The candidates elected will be named for three year terms.

Holdover members of the board are John McKnight, Todd Duchscherer, Alyson Myhre and John Grann.
