Congratulations to all the graduates. On this Memorial weekend, we remember all those who gave their lives for their country as well as all the loved ones who have passed away.

Amanda, Jake, Fallyn and Piper Hegland went to Spearfish, S.D., the weekend of May 18-20 to spend time with Amanda’s family.

Saturday, May 19, the family helped Amanda’s nephew, Dylan Alexander celebrate his graduation from Newell High School.

On their way home, the Heglands stopped in Hettinger and visited Jake’s grandma, Emily Stadheim.

Last weekend, Dave and Linda Madson, Melodie Watt and her granddaughters, Kennedee and McKenzee were overnight guests of Shawn and Cathy Caulfield in Jamestown.

Sunday afternoon, a barbecue was enjoyed by the Madsons- Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee; Shawn’s parents, Pat and Kay Caulfield; Shawn’s sister Colleen and her husband, Terry and their grandchildren, Ellie, Bennett and Mia; Shawn and Cathy’s son Brandon and his wife, Sarah and their children, Paige and Easton; their son, Jared and his wife Sammi and their 6-week-old twin boys, Ryker and Ashton.

Kennedee kept a dental appointment Monday morning.
