Last Sunday, Tom, Pam, JD and Jakob Schmid attended Parker Schmid’s graduation celebration in Devils Lake. Congratulations Parker.

Tuesday, Pam and Jakob went to Fargo to keep an appointment.

On Memorial Day, Lester and Jackie Roberts enjoyed a fish fry at Lezlee Thorson and Bob Hoffart’s lake home.

Raymond (Butch) and Vicki Peterson of Fargo visited Lester and Jackie Wednesday.

Many relatives and friends helped Lester and Jackie celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday afternoon. Congratulations Lester and Jackie.

Visitors at the Roberts on Sunday were Bobbi and Tom Duberowski of Parkers Prairie, Minn., Lezlee Thorson and Bob Hoffart, Devils Lake and Ryan, Megan and Aiden Thorson of Grand Forks.

Howard and Helen Schmid attended the graduation celebration for their grandson Parker Schmid last Sunday in Devils Lake.

Howard and Helen attended church services at Grandfield Church, rural Sheyenne, on Sunday.

The Antelope Valley Cemetery Association held their annual meeting at the home of Betty Rushfeldt on Sunday, May 27.

Sunday, Betty and Sharon Rance attended services at St. Olaf in Devils Lake and then went for a drive in the countryside. They stopped in at Fred and Luella Rance’s home for a visit.

James Nelson reported that Lester Roberts had visited him recently.

James attended the Roberts’ anniversary celebration on Saturday afternoon. He went to the car show on Sunday.

Nadley Buehler attended graduation and several open house celebrations in Maddock last Sunday.

Randy Simon delivered pie and visited Todd Buehler on Friday.

Neal Swenson visited Todd on Saturday afternoon.

Breana Buehler spent the weekend at the Buehler farm.

Todd, Nadley and Breana visited Ron and Laurie Knaust of Fargo at the home of Beau and Bria Buehler Sunday afternoon.

Wednesday, Dave and Linda Madson attended the adoption proceedings for Melodie Watt’s granddaughters, Kennedee and McKenzee. Following the adoption, the group had lunch at The Cove. It was a very special day for Grandma, Melodie and great grandparents, Dave and Linda.

Saturday afternoon, Dave and Linda were among the many who attended the 60th Anniversary party for Lester and Jackie Roberts.

Saturday evening, Kennedee and McKenzee celebrated their mama’s birthday with birthday cake and notes to her in balloons that were sent to her in heaven.

Jake, Amanda and Piper Hegland were in Fargo for Piper’s medical appointment on Tuesday. Amanda was in Bismarck for meetings on Wednesday. Saturday, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper were supper guests at Jarvis and Patty Hegland’s home. Other guests were Jill Zietz and children, Emma, Rosa and Silas.

Fallyn Hegland and her new puppy, Kooper, stayed with Jarvis and Patty Monday night and Tuesday while her parents and sister were in Fargo for appointments.

Jill, Rosa, Emma and Silas Zietz were houseguests of Jarvis and Patty from Thursday evening through Monday.

Jake and Amanda, Fallyn and Piper joined them in various configurations for supper out on Friday evening, a Saturday playdate and dance party, a birthday supper Saturday night and a Sunday afternoon mud and dirt extravaganza followed by sharing leftovers.

Saturday, Doris Griffin was one of the volunteers to put on the 20th Anniversary open house for the Friends of Sully’s Hill Volunteer Organization. Stan and Doris were part of the very first meeting to organize and Stan was the first president.
