Obituary: Timothy Boelke

Timothy Lance Boelke, 56, Jamestown, N.D., passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at his home. A memorial service was held June 1, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Jamestown. Pastor Elmo Herman officiated. Burial was at Highland Home Cemetery.

Timothy was born February 1, 1962 in Jamestown, the son of Kenneth and Frances (Eckroth) Boelke. He attended school in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1980. Timothy and Pamela Marie Stevens were married August 30, 1985 in Cleveland, N.D. Timothy attended Valley City State University in Valley City, N.D. before moving to New Rockford. While in New Rockford, Timothy worked at the 4th Corporation and had clients in Carrington and New Rockford. He then worked at the North American Bison Co-operative in New Rockford until his vision declined and then focused on his family.

Timothy enjoyed listening to audio books and chatting on the phone with family and friends. He liked spending time with his mother, Frances, at Hardees, and accompanying her on various outings. Timothy collected a variety of coins, trains, boats, planes, beer steins and used cigar boxes to store his keepsakes.

Timothy is survived by his three children: sons, Matthew (Brandi Morrow), New Rockford, Tyler, Jamestown; one daughter, Nicole (Jonathan) Ewert, Langdon, N.D.; two granddaughters, Alicia and Sasha, and two grandsons, Angel, and Alaric; three sisters, Tracy (Mark) Haglund, Lakeville, Minn., Terri (Dean) Bertsch, Jamestown, Toni (Jeff) McCarty, Fargo, N.D.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela; parents, Frances and Kenneth, and many other beloved family members.
