New Rockford Lions Club members finished installing the new boards on the Centennial Park Gazebo on Wednesday, June 27. Work has been in progress to replace all the rotten boards on the base, benches, perimeter and stairs since the beginning of June. All the materials were paid for by the local club, and Lions members volunteered their time to complete the project in observance of Lions International's 100th anniversary. Clubs all over the world were challenged to do something that leaves a legacy in their home communities.
