Scenes from the Independence Day Celebration

"Hit me with your best shot!" yelled 9-year-old Chaztin Wobbema as all five riders on the Looking Upward Roofing float turned their water guns on him for a good soak during the Sheyenne parade on July 4. Attendance at the annual parades in both Sheyenne and New Rockford was down a bit from past years, but those on hand were treated to a variety of vehicles, floats, walkers and swag.
