Monday found Candy Jensen a visitor and lunch guest at the Thelma Myhre home.

Wednesday Leo and Janet Laube drove to Carrington where they enjoyed supper in celebration of Janet's 71st birthday. Janet also got good wishes calls from Lois Ockert, Carol Clancy and Charlotte Koepplin.

Monday Calvin Packard treated guests to grilled steaks at the Shirley Packard home. Those enjoying the supper were Dave and Cheryl Gabbert and Shirley. The Gabberts drove to Hankinson and visited other family on Tuesday and then returned to their home in Sartell, Minn.

Monday Fayette Hardy returned to her home in Jamestown after several days at the Ken and Marvis Holte home. Friday through Sunday guests at the Holte home were son, Loren and Amber Holte and McKenzie of Bismarck. All enjoyed visiting and supper with Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy on Saturday. Sunday Loren and family stopped and visited his sister Fayette in Jamestown before returning home.

Martin and Janelle Koepplin and KC returned home Saturday after spending the Fourth of July with daughter Trisha and Jay McMonagle, Wylie and Zaylie in Brainerd, Minn. All enjoyed the parade and other Independence Day activities while there.

Don and Betty Gedrose of Sleepy Eye, Minn. were guests of Don’s mom, Lillian over the Fourth of July. Don enjoyed his 50th high school class reunion and visiting with other family and friends including Jerry and Betty Wolsky in Carrington. Other recent visitors at Lillian's were Colin and Marilyn Gedrose, Janine Anderson and Tyler.

Friday visitors and overnight guests at the Marion Larson home were Jim and Becky Edinger, Preston and Hannah of Mayville. Fourth of July visitor at Marion’s was Beverly Kracht.

Leo and Janet Laube and Yip Yip were briefly at the Charlotte Koepplin home Sunday afternoon bringing items to put in a freezer too save until the power outage in New Rockford was restored, which followed the early Sunday morning storm.

Marvis Holte enjoyed a phone call from her sister Penny Sorrells from Brooklyn Park, Minn. Sunday. Checking on them due to the stormy weather.

New Rockford area folks extend sympathy to the family of Clarice Steele.
