The New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce has set a date and opened registration for this summer’s city-wide rummage sale. The sale will be held on Saturday, August 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Chamber will place an ad in the County Extra the week of the sale, listing addresses of all participating garage sales. Maps of all registered sales will be distributed free to shoppers, and participants will be provided with yard signs to mark their sales. Registered sales will also have a 20-word listing to showcase the types of items they will have for sale. The registration fee to appear on both the newspaper ad and maps is $5.
Participants may register now at Bakers Dozen or the Transcript office in downtown New Rockford. Payment is required to secure a spot in the sale, and registrations must be received by Tuesday, July 24 to be included on the maps and ad.
