NDSU Extension is offering a Home Food Preservation Workshop to area residents on August 14, 2018 at 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Community Activities Center (CAC) Building located on the Foster County Fairgrounds.

We will also learn how to freeze preserve green beans as an alternative safe method of preserving low acid produce. All participants will receive a course materials binder and take home their preserved items.

The cost for the workshop is $15 and limited to 12 participants. The registration fee can be mailed to the Foster County Extension Service at P.O. Box 80 Courthouse, Carrington ND 58421 or dropped off in the Extension office located on the second floor of the Foster County Courthouse before August 3, 2018.
