Everyone must be busy harvesting or on vacation or just plain busy – not much news this week.

Betty Rushfeldt recently enjoyed an acrylic arts class.  

Betty and Sharon Rance were coffee guests at the home of Kermit and Glenna Garske on Sunday afternoon. Other guests were Fred Rance, Everett and Gloria Rance and Darlene Schoenfish. They were celebrating Kermit’s birthday.

Thursday, Lester Roberts was in Maddock on business.

Roger was a Saturday visitor at the Roberts’ home

Chad Getscher visited the Roberts’ on Sunday.

Monday through Thursday evening, Linda Madson accompanied Melodie Madson to the Vacation Bible School program each night at the River of Life church. Kennedee and McKenzee were participants.

Dave Madson kept a medical appointment in Devils Lake on Monday.

Tuesday, Linda kept medical appointments in Devils Lake.

The Madson’s took in the Elks Band at Arts in the Park in Devils Lake on Tuesday evening. The Kiwanis served popcorn.

Saturday, Kinley Poulsen repaired Melodie’s deck.

Dave and Linda joined Melodie, Kinley and the girls for lunch at Melodie’s home. Supper for the group was served at Dave and Linda’s.

Sunday, the Madson’s attended services at Calvary Church in Oberon. Following the service, they went to the Madson farm and visited and had lunch with Paul Prince. Carrie Madson was with Melodie and Kennedee on their way to Jamestown where they would be overnight guests at their sister, Cathy and Shawn Caulfield home. Kennedee will keep an orthodontic appointment on Monday.

McKenzee is a Sunday and Monday guest at her Grandma Julie Mertens’ home.
