Talk of The Town - August 20, 2018

Martin and Janelle Koepplin and Todd and Karen Koepplin were among family, friends and neighbors to take fifth birthday greetings to Chevelle on Sunday at the Danielle Beckley and Aaron Koepplin home in Carrington. Those bringing good wishes enjoyed a BedRock - Flintstones lunch including dinosaur eggs, Barney’s beans and Wilma's special cupcakes.

Saturday Calvin Packard and his mom Shirley drove to Underwood where they were part of a surprise retirement party for Jerome "Jerry" Klocke hosted by his wife Vida Klocke and their children Jesse and Malissa and her friend Joey at the Klocke home. Jerome retired from 35 years with the Falkirk Mine.

Friday visitors and overnight guests at the Martin and Eloise Lucht home were Roland and Marylou Sharbono of Maple Grove, Minn. All enjoyed a fish supper at the Luchts.

Sunday Janet Laube enjoyed a phone chat with grandson Scott Laube of Fargo. Elaine Thompson was a Thursday visitor at the Shirley Packard home.
