New Rockford- Sheyenne (NRS) fourth grader Karsyn Wetzel has a vision for a better world, and the drive to make it happen. On Saturday, Aug. 4, Wetzel had a lemonade stand and made $96 for the Kindness Club at NR-S School. The Kindness Club was founded during the spring of 2018 by the third grade class in an effort to reduce bullying and help support fellow classmates.
Wetzel plans to use the money she earned from her lemonade stand to buy playground patrol vests, materials to make buttons to promote kindness and discourage bullying, and snacks for meetings.
