The refugee resettlement industry is in full panic mode. Some may ques- tion whether “industry” is the correct word. But the multi-million dollar budgets voluntary agencies (volags) have at their disposal and the lofty salaries the direc- tors earn reveal that resettle- ment is a big and lucrative business, largely American taxpayer-funded.
