The Eddy County VFW Auxiliary will hold their annual membership meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 6:30 p.m. The evening will begin with a potluck meal followed by a meeting. Later, games and visiting will be enjoyed by the ladies.
Last Wednesday, Patti Clifton accompanied Jan Loe to Minot. On the way, they stopped in Rugby for coffee and happened to meet Sharon Oppen and had a quick visit. In Minot, they made a quick stop at the home of Jared and Natasha Kolles and family. Jan and Patti did a little shopping and stopped for lunch before returning home to Sheyenne.
At noon on Saturday, Patti Clifton and Jan Loe met Peg Clifton for lunch in Carrington.
Saturday evening, Jan Loe was among friends and family who helped Darrell and Liz Anderson celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Anderson’s home west of Sheyenne.
Grand Forks was the destination on Monday for Jan Loe and Patti Clifton. They met Jim and Marjean Woodrow for lunch and then did some shopping before heading back to Sheyenne.
Don’t forget to stop in at Sheyenne’s Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, 9-11 a.m., at the corner of Main St. and Richter Avenue. On Saturday evenings at 7 p.m., play bingo at Ostby Hall.
